Welcome to Regina Caeli Academy, a private school satellite program in California.
Since 1994, RCA has supported Catholic homeschooling families by providing administrative oversight as a private school. We are the "umbrella," under which parents are considered satellite campuses and teachers. Families are protected by anonymity, just as with any private school in this State.
When you enroll with RCA, you have the peace of mind that you are homeschooling in compliance with California law. Personal information and records are kept confidential and secure and at no time is identifying information submitted to the State.

History
Regina Caeli Academy was founded in 1994 by two Catholic homeschooling mothers who saw a need to form a community and support like-minded families who also educated their children at home in San Diego County. Although these women went on to found an independent Roman Catholic school in the area, RCA continued as leadership was handed on from one homeschooling mother to another. I am honored to be the 4th director to serve.
In 2014, enrollment was opened to families throughout California. By doing so, RCA became the only statewide private school satellite program that supports fully independent Catholic homeschoolers.
I am committed to continuing the vision of our founders by fulfilling a very real need in our State. Not only are our families supported administratively, but they come together to form a community by joining together in the common bonds of Faith, vocations as Catholic parents, and by supporting each other through prayers and mutual encouragement.

About the DirectorI am grateful to bring my 17 years of homeschooling experience and 30 years of professional experience in museum and arts administration and in higher education admissions to lead Regina Caeli Academy.
During this time, I was asked to join the inaugural team of the Classic Learning Test to help introduce the new exam to the greater homeschool community and to independent high schools; and to secure training sites and proctors. This past year-and-a-half I held the position of Director of Admissions for Magdalen College of the Liberal Arts, a Newman Guide Recommended College, for which I grew recruitment by thirty-percent.
My husband and I continue our homeschool adventure and now have two sons in college and a high school sophomore.
I am passionate about education and part of my personal mission is to promote and preserve our God-given right to do so. I am staunchly anti-Common Core and follow trends and legislative matters to be able to inform parents and encourage activism for our children well into in the future.
Each year leading RCA brings new experiences and knowledge. As long as we continue to grow and adapt to our ever-changing environment together, I am blessed to do so with our RCA families.
